The Unity of the Brethren supports missionaries both around the world, and in our local congregations and communities.

These missionaries are funded through donations from generous supporters like you! If you would like to make a donation towards our home or foreign missions, please use the funds distribution memo on the forms page. The budgets for both mission groups is posted below.

Meet Our Missionaries

Pavel and Stania Kozac: Czech Republic
- street ministry; inner-city ministry; children's ministry
From Pavel:
I came to know Jesus as Lord and Savior in 1986. I started to serve on the street in 1989, following the Velvet Revolution, and I really wanted to be with people outside and preach the Gospel. I am very happy that the Lord Jesus fulfilled it for me. And I prayed that I could study at a theological seminary and the Lord Jesus performed the miracle that in 2000 I was able to enter a Baptist theological seminary in Texas.
After I finished the seminary, I returned to Bohemia with my wife, Stania, and we started serving mainly on the streets, doing daily missionary work and praying for a new church to be established. The Lord Jesus was glorified and young people started opening their hearts to the Lord Jesus and soon a church was formed. I served as Pastor every day. During that time, I baptized about 100 people. Praise the Lord!
I am personally very, very HAPPY and grateful to Lord Jesus for my dear wife Stania. She is such SWEET and very kind godly, Christian lady and wife. She is possessing the most amazing kind and carrying heart in the Lord Jesus, I ever met!
About 10 years ago, my wife and I decided to move to Moravia. My wife's family comes from northern Moravia, and my family comes from Zlín. We started working in both Zlín and Olomouc and our ministry focused mainly on young people on the streets and also on older people, on seniors too. We also serve our Czech friends in Dresden, Germany, so it is a great blessing for us, and we are happy that we can serve like this several times a year.
We thank you very, very humbly for everything and we are very humbly grateful to the Lord Jesus Christ for the Grace that He gives us, and for the fact that we can serve with you in that Vineyard of God and work for the Glory of the Lord Jesus Christ.

Ashely Dusek: Guatemala
My name is Ashley Dusek. I am from Wall, TX, and I serve in Guatemala with the Antigua House of Prayer and Harp and Bowls. Our team has an assignment to minister to the heart of God through times of intercession, prayer, and worship and our greatest desire is for others to grow in their understanding of beholding the beauty of Jesus. Throughout the week in the prayer house we host times of teaching, prayer, public reading of the scriptures, worship, and outreach and evangelism on the streets. We have the privilege of discipling locals, teaching tourists, and training teams. As we grow in our understanding of Gods heart for the nations, it compels us to go, so our team is raising up and equipping Guatemalans from surrounding communities to be sent to the nations. Guatemala is not only a receiving nation, but is becoming a sending nation and advancing the Kingdom of God through the Great Commission. We are seeing the Lord move in incredible ways here in the Antigua House of Prayer and our team is so excited about how the Lord is bridging us to countries across the world!
